    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Job Summary: </strong>The Pharmacy Technician-Two (2) Inpatient assists in all aspects of drug distribution within the scope of responsibility. &nbsp;Maintains records and computer data related to patients and medications. &nbsp;Functions in accordance with pharmacy law and written guidelines of the pharmacy department. &nbsp;Performs other duties as needed. &nbsp; <br/><br/><strong>Education and Experience: </strong>Associate's Degree in Pharmacy Technology or completed a course of training specified by the Board required. &nbsp;Minimum one year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred. &nbsp; <br/><br/><strong>Knowledge and Skills: </strong>Able to write legibly speak; assemble, troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment and perform technical age-specific patient care activities as required; use computer and software programs necessary to the position. &nbsp;Able to communicate effectively, and professionally with others, be assertive and consistent in following policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure, collaborate with others; accept direction. &nbsp;Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing and on the telephone; perform basic math functions essential to position; think critically; organize and prioritize workload; manage multiple assignments effectively; work well under pressure, problem solve; recall information; pay close attention to detail; document legibly; use computer for essential job duties. &nbsp;Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position. <br/><br/><strong>Licensures and Certifications: </strong>California Pharmacy Technician license required. &nbsp;Certified Pharmacy Technician by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board required.</p>",
