    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The School of Nursing Adjunct Faculty, under the supervision of the Program Director, as well as the Academic Coordinator, is responsible for evaluation of the program's academic and clinical components. Working in close association with the Academic and Clinical Faculty, the School of Nursing Adjunct Faculty member is paid per course or lecture assigned to you. This is a non-exempt position.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Located in Henderson, Nevada, approximately twenty-five minutes from the iconic Las Vegas strip, Touro University Nevada is a non-profit medical, health sciences, and education graduate university focused on positively impacting our community in healthcare and education. Please visit the tun.touro.edu/administration/human-resources website where you can see a comprehensive listing of optional benefits and Human Resources contact information.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Assist in teaching assignments</p>\n<li>Provide student instruction in assigned courses</li>\n<li>Develop and evaluate student performance in both the didactic and clinical phase</li>\n<li>Some teaching assignments may exist in a courses where the faculty member is not a primary instructor (e.g. labs, OSCEs, clinical year curriculum)</li>\n<li>Participate in all aspects of the self-study process.</li>\n<li>Counsel and advise students.</li>\n<li>Participate in faculty directed activities in order that the program will be an integral part of the university system</li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><em><u>Education</u></em>: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>DNP or PhD</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><u>Experience</u></em>: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 5 years of clinical experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><u>Skills & Abilities</u></em>: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong oral and written communication skills, including grammar and formal speech</li>\n <li>Established leadership and supervisory skills</li>\n <li>Computer skills, including Microsoft Office</li>\n <li>Flexible, resilient, and uplifting demeanor</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational skills</li>\n <li>Attention to detail and situational awareness</li>\n <li>Able to exercise sound judgment</li>\n <li>Able to serve and advocate for diverse populations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em><u>Application Requirements</u></em>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Resume or CV</li>\n <li>Cover Letter (attached to the cover letter link) that expresses your interest in this specific position at this specific institution.
