We provide accessible, quality, culturally safe and holistic health care that supports and enhances the wellness of individuals, families, and communities. We work with our 11 First Nation community partners and the IFC in the provision of primary health care, traditional healing, mental wellness and addictions, home and community support services, and health promotion services.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The opportunity:</span> </p>\n<p>Reporting to the Director of Mental Health &amp; Addictions, the Nurse Practitioner – Virtual Mental Health &amp; Addictions provides high‑quality, culturally safe mental health and addictions care for clients served by Maamwesying North Shore Community Health Services Inc. and the HART Hub. Using a strengths‑based, evidence‑informed approach, the NP delivers both virtual and in‑person clinical services that support the holistic wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The NP conducts comprehensive assessments, provides episodic and addictions-focused care, and collaborates closely with the Minobimaadizing team, primary care providers, and interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless, client‑centered continuity of care across MNSCHS communities.</p>\n<p>Success in this role requires strong clinical expertise grounded in cultural humility, trauma‑informed practice, and an understanding of Indigenous health perspectives. The NP actively contributes to case planning, case conferencing, quality improvement initiatives, and maintains high standards of documentation and professional practice.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This opportunity is well suited for a clinician committed to community-based care, comfortable working across virtual and in‑person settings, and motivated to advance innovative, accessible, and culturally grounded mental wellness and addictions services across the region.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you need to bring with you: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate.
