    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>All staff are required to hold current Lifeguard and CPR/First Aid/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certifications by the first day of work.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p><i><strong>Specific Job Responsibilities:</strong></i></p>\n<p><u>Cannon Pool (Main Campus)</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Attentive supervision of lap swimmers in the water and on the pool deck</li>\n <li>Maintain a clear pool deck</li>\n <li>Enforce all rules posted in the pool</li>\n <li>Open and close the pool at the beginning and end of shifts</li>\n <li>Respond to emergencies</li>\n</ul>\n<p><u>Lake Campus</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure a safe environment at the beach and the swim area of Lake Campus</li>\n <li>Set up/break down equipment and specific facility areas daily, including but not limited to: cleaning restrooms, removing trash and recycling, maintaining lifeguard equipment such as a chair, tubes, backboard, and first aid supplies, rakingthe &nbsp;beach, and beach games</li>\n <li>Maintain coverage at the gatehouse as needed at the front of the facility during Day Camp at the Lake weekdays and for outside groups on weekends</li>\n <li>Enforce all rules posted at Lake Campus</li>\n <li>Respond to emergencies</li>\n</ul>\n<p><i><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></i></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current Lifeguarding and CPR/First Aid/AED for the Professional Rescuer Certification</li>\n <li>Ability to work a flexible schedule of approximately 30 hours per week – lifeguards collectively cover 7 days per week</li>\n <li>Available May 30-August 16</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Information about how to submit an application can be found at </strong><a href=\"https://employment.davidson.edu/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>https://employment.davidson.edu</strong></a></p>",
