    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>The Opportunity:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a Cloud Engineer, you will consult and contribute to business process improvements of IT policies, procedures, tools, security controls and infrastructure. You will also conduct research and Proof of Concept activities and provide recommendations for new technologies, techniques and tools to add value by increasing efficiency while improving service quality. The Azure Cloud Engineer will maintain the operational Azure cloud environment, perform infrastructure deployments and ensure the production environment is operating securely and efficiently using automation tools. You will work with Infrastructure Engineering to make sure all deployments follow standards, are compliant and secure. You will also be partnered with other cloud team members, application owners and business owners for faster delivery of resources.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The Day-to-Day:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop, implement and maintain scalable Cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure platform</li>\n <li>Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their cloud requirements and design effective solutions</li>\n <li>Provide technical expertise and support troubleshooting cloud related issues and performance bottlenecks</li>\n <li>Recommend Cloud & AI-based solutions, document and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders</li>\n <li>Design and manage scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure and automation tooling for routine operation tasks</li>\n <li>Deploy enterprise scaled cloud resources that can be used across technology organizations using code</li>\n <li>Be the contact to business application owners and build bridge between them and the cloud team</li>\n <li>Follow security audit requirements and controls in every action</li>\n <li>Implement and suggest strategies in Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, develop tooling and associated processes for using automated, faster, efficient, and consistent error-free deployments</li>\n <li>Participate in team activities such as peer code reviews, design collaboration efforts and rotating on-call process</li>\n <li>Use configuration management and automated deployment tools to provide cloud-based solutions and services ensuring best practices</li>\n <li>Work with solution architects, tech leads and partners to confirm developed solutions align with existing standards, meet security controls and meet cloud computing best practices</li>\n <li>Manage implementations and ongoing operation of cloud services following approved designs, adherence to patterns, security requirements and certify all logging and monitoring are active for security and compliance</li>\n <li>Investigate and monitor current-state cloud usage, solutions in use, risks, gaps, limitations and recommend solutions, optimizations and remediation</li>\n <li>Provide international and 24/7 support through on-call duties and/or working a flexible off-hours schedule for planned and unplanned maintenance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Your Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>10+ years of experience deploying resources and managing infrastructure through both manual and automated pipelines in an IT infrastructure and operational environment</li>\n <li>5+ years of experience with the following:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Maintaining resources in cross platform environments</li>\n   <li>Azure cloud infrastructure deployments using IaC</li>\n   <li>Building, deploying and managing public cloud IaaS and PaaS services</li>\n   <li>Deploying resources using Terraform</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>4+ years of experience with the following:\n  <ul>\n   <li>GitHub and GitHub Actions</li>\n   <li>Building automated cloud infrastructure across multiple Production and Non-Production environments</li>\n   <li>Scripting and automating builds, workflows, tasks and other integration aspects</li>\n   <li>Azure CLI</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>3+ years of experience with the following:\n  <ul>\n   <li>CI/CD pipelines</li>\n   <li>YAML/YML for GitHub actions</li>\n   <li>Troubleshooting in an Azure Cloud environment</li>\n   <li>Designing and managing cloud solutions</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>1+ year hands on experience\n  <ul>\n   <li>Deploying, operating, and maintaining Kubernetes-based platforms</li>\n   <li>AI platforms such as Microsoft Azure AI or similar cloud-based AI services</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Experience with Azure IaaS (Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking) and PaaS (App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of identity management, security controls, compliance and encryption</li>\n <li>Experience explaining complex concepts to both non-technical and technical teams</li>\n <li>Solid understanding of DNS, LAN, WAN, Firewalls, File systems, and IAM</li>\n <li>Experience with Linux and Microsoft Windows server environments</li>\n <li>Experience using Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow</li>\n <li>Experience with PowerShell</li>\n <li>Knowledge in Octopus Deploy and Ansible is preferred</li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why Fisher Investments:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We work for a bigger purpose: bettering the investment universe.
