K–12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>This is a pro-bono position.</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>The <strong>Business Development Team Lead</strong> provides leadership, direction and planning to identify, reach out to and engage with College and universities of interest  that could provide volunteer program instructors.</p>\n<p>JerseySTEM is looking for talented professionals across our departments to commit time and energy as long-term engagement for our mission to provide STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>The Team Lead will work closely with the <strong>COLE Department head</strong> to develop and implement effective strategies for recruiting college and university students as volunteer instructors.</li>\n <li>Lead the College Engagement Business Development Team to identify and engage with colleges and universities of interest to the volunteer program.</li>\n <li>Build and foster relationships with key personnel at colleges and universities, including faculty members, administrators.</li>\n <li>Help coordinate and attend events and activities at colleges and universities to promote the volunteer program and recruit potential volunteer instructors.</li>\n <li>Track and report on the effectiveness of college engagement strategies and adjust as needed to achieve program goals.</li>\n <li>Work closely with the Volunteer Program Director to ensure alignment of college engagement strategies with overall program goals and objectives.</li>\n <li>Provide guidance and support to the College Engagement Business Development Team, including training, mentoring, and performance management.</li>\n <li>Mandatory Meetings:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Conduct/Attend virtual  team meetings <strong>weekly</strong> : Sundays 5on EST</li>\n  <li><strong>Monthly</strong> Department Heads Meetings(2nd Thursday 7:30pm)</li>\n  <li><strong>Quarterly</strong> board Meeting (Last Wednesday 7:30pm)</li>\n </ul>\n <li><p><strong>Time Commitment </strong></p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>3-6 Hours weekly</li>\n   <li>6 months minimum</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Genuine concern about/interest in solving the STEM education gender gap</li>\n <li>Strong leadership/team building skills</li>\n <li>Resourceful, can-do attitude</li>\n <li>Experience with Universities and College campuses</li>\n <li>Outreach experience preferred</li>\n <li>Experience leading a function (i.e. team, department manager, etc) and managing others</li>\n <li>Comfort working in a ‘virtual organization’ with digital tools (G-Suite, Slack, Jira, salesforce)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Would be a plus if candidate has flexible schedule to allow for day time calls with the school admins during the work week</p>",
