This is a salaried-exempt position reporting to the General Manager. The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the daily maintenance procedures and repairs of ready-mix plants and mobile equipment.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for the maintenance of all mobile and plant equipment.</li>\n <li>Apply approved preventative maintenance measures maximizing fleet efficiencies while controlling costs.</li>\n <li>Hire, direct, coach and develop regional maintenance staff.</li>\n <li>Prepare annual repair and maintenance budgets for all ready-mix plants and mobile equipment.</li>\n <li>Establish cost effective inventory levels, approve parts/material purchases and resolve budget variance issues.</li>\n <li>Ensure accuracy of truck maintenance files in accordance with DOT regulations.</li>\n <li>Manage plant improvement and/or expansion projects.</li>\n <li>Support organizational safety initiatives and drive the maintenance team towards zero incident rating.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience: </strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School, (college degree preferred) with a minimum of ten years of job-related experience in mobile equipment and ready-mix concrete plant maintenance.</li>\n <li>Thorough knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, hydraulics and pneumatics.</li>\n <li>Two to five years’ experience in a supervisory or other leadership role.</li>\n <li>Good math and computer skills (M.S. Office software including Excel) and working knowledge of fleet maintenance software, including DataStream and SAP.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills as he or she will be required to communicate effectively before groups of employees including management groups and must effectively direct the work of others.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Titan Florida is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) / Affirmative Action employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
