Ensure kitchen staff maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and cleanliness. Prepare top-quality food and lead inventory and supplier relations. Maintain food and liquor costs within budget. Collaborate with other departments to build unique activities. Assist in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management. Handle guest recovery and resolve complaints effectively. Supervise kitchen equipment maintenance and repairs. Develop new dishes and update menus to attract more guests. Ensure excellent guest service and embody Hilton Grand Vacations values. Complete required training and adhere to company policies. Carry out additional tasks as advised.
Requirements:
To fulfill this role optimally, you should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:
1+ years of supervisory experience. Knowledge of wine varietals and pairings. Solid background in food and kitchen management. Strong culinary skills and leadership abilities. Familiarity with current culinary trends and efficient kitchen processes. Proficiency in MS Office, restaurant management software, and POS systems. Health and safety training credentials (e.g., Serve Safe/OSHA). Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications:
Sous chef and cook supervisory experience. Familiarity with Agilysys POS.
