If you take pride in quality work, safety, and attention to detail — and want to build a long-term career — we encourage you to apply.</p><h3><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li>Assist with structural and cosmetic body repairs on school buses while learning DOT safety standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Support fabrication, repair, and replacement of structural components such as crossmembers, panels, flooring, and door parts.&nbsp;</li><li>Learn and assist with MIG welding, cutting, grinding, and basic metal fabrication tasks.&nbsp;</li><li>Help with rust repair, corrosion treatment, and preventative maintenance.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in inspecting vehicle damage and learning proper repair methods.&nbsp;</li><li>Learn to read and interpret repair orders, estimates, SOPs, and work instructions.&nbsp;</li><li>Safely use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment under supervision.&nbsp;</li><li>Document work performed and communicate progress with lead technicians or management.&nbsp;</li><li>Work with the maintenance team to help ensure timely repairs and vehicle readiness.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform other shop duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul><h3><strong>Qualifications:</strong></h3><ul><li>Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn fabrication, welding, or body repair skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Interest in MIG welding and metal work (training provided).&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to follow directions and safety procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.&nbsp;</li><li>Valid driver’s license required.&nbsp;</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational interest preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical positions throughout the day.&nbsp;</li></ul><h3><strong>Preferred (but not required):</strong></h3><ul><li>Any exposure to welding, automotive repair, construction, or shop environments.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience working with tools or mechanical systems.&nbsp;</li><li>Interest in growing into a full Body Shop Technician role.&nbsp;</li></ul><h3><strong>Benefits:</strong></h3><ul><li>Starting at <strong>$19–$23/hour</strong> (based on experience)&nbsp;</li><li>Tools provided&nbsp;</li><li>Safety boot reimbursement&nbsp;</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement&nbsp;</li><li>Paid time off and holidays&nbsp;</li><li>Stable, team-oriented work environment&nbsp;</li></ul><h3><strong>Schedule:</strong></h3><ul><li>Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM&nbsp;</li><li>Summer Hours: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM</li></ul>",
