Position Summary: The primary responsibility is to set up and assist physicians in performing a variety of special studies, including interventional procedures, which often requires sterile technique, the introduction of a medical devices into designated areas of the body and digital processing of imaging. Education, License & Cert: High School Diploma or equivalent. Licenses: ARRT(R) certification required, Advanced certification ARRT(VI) or ARRT(CV) preferred. Experience: Minimum of one year radiological technologist experience. Prior experience in an IR or Cardiology lab is preferred. Essential Functions: Assists physicians with procedures, performs patient care duties according to standard care plan, physician preference, policy and procedure. Prepares sterile table and environment for angiographic procedures. Positions patient to image anatomic structures. Manages the sterile area and can appropriately operate all medical devices with the assistance of the physician. Knows the functions and controls of the imaging equipment within Interventional Radiology and the Hybrid OR. Knowledge of the HIS/RIS computer systems as it relates to Interventional Radiology. Provide call coverage during off hours. Other Duties: Maintains clean work area. Performs post processing of imaging Completes all required consents and paperwork documentation. Licenses: ARRT(R) certification required, Advanced certification ARRT(VI) or ARRT(CV) preferred.</p><p><strong>Experience:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Minimum of one year radiological technologist experience. &nbsp;Prior experience in an IR or Cardiology lab is preferred.</p><p><strong>Essential Functions:&nbsp;</strong></p><ol><li>Assists physicians with procedures, performs patient care duties according to standard care plan, physician preference, policy and procedure.</li><li>Prepares sterile table and environment for angiographic procedures.</li><li>Positions patient to image anatomic structures.</li><li>Manages the sterile area and can appropriately operate all medical devices with the assistance of the physician.</li><li>Knows the functions and controls of the imaging equipment within Interventional Radiology and the Hybrid OR.</li><li>Knowledge of the HIS/RIS computer systems as it relates to Interventional Radiology.</li><li>Provide call coverage during off hours.</li></ol><p><strong>Other Duties:&nbsp;</strong></p><ol><li>Maintains clean work area.</li><li>Performs post processing of imaging</li><li>Completes all required consents and paperwork documentation.</li><li>All other duties as assigned.</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><p>#LI - CL1</p>",
