          "text": "<p>We have an exciting opportunity for available for a Finance Manager located out of our Bloomington, MN corporate headquarters.&#xa0; The Finance Manager is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the finance and accounting function, including month-end close activities, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The successful candidate will have a strong technical accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and strong communication skills to work cross-functionally with other departments.</p><p>Key Accountabilities Include:</p><ul><li>Lead and manage all month-end close activities, including timely preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting, including GAAP and statutory financial reporting.</li><li>Research accounting pronouncements and develop company policies for new, changing, or existing business transactions.</li><li>Responsible for submitting monthly and quarterly reporting to IDQ’s parent company, Berkshire Hathaway.</li><li>Lead the annual audit process and ensure timely completion of audit requests.</li><li>Lead the preparation of International Dairy Queen, subsidiaries and retirement savings plan annual reports.</li><li>Manage and develop the finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to help team members grow and achieve their goals.</li><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and other service providers.</li><li>Collaborate with other departments to identify and address accounting-related issues or opportunities to standardize and streamline processes.</li><li>Prepare and analyze financial statements and provide insight into financial performance through variance and trend analysis.</li><li>Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, including the development of financial models, analysis of key financial metrics, and preparation of financial statements.</li><li>Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast and provide insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.</li><li>Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in the finance&#xa0;and accounting function.</li></ul><p><em>The US national base salary range for this position is $115,037 - $143,796. This position is also eligible for a bonus. The base salary range displayed reflects the targeted hiring range for positions across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by job-related skills, work location and relevant education or experience.</em></p>",
