    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong>  </p>\n<p>We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Construction Project Manager to lead, innovate and build by providing comprehensive administrative and technical leadership for major, multifaceted construction projects. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients and partners, ensuring every phase of the project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. </p>\n<p>Walbridge is looking for Project Manager that knows how to and loves to build!   </p>\n<p><strong>Location</strong> </p>\n<p>This long-term project is based near Hamlet, NC.  However, we are seeking individuals who are highly willing to travel to our client projects on a long-term basis.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Your key responsibilities</strong> </p>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Oversee Construction: </strong>Ensure compliance with design, budget, and schedule, while coordinating with clients, A/E representatives, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Set project objectives, policies, and performance standards within corporate guidelines. </li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Team Leadership</strong>: Direct and supervise project personnel, monitor and control the project via the on-site Superintendent; address critical issues as needed. </li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Manage Project Administration</strong>: Approve purchase requisitions and change requests. Maintain project logs, documentation, and finances. Ensure adherence to company, client, and project policies and standards. </li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Resource Management: </strong>Monitor compliance with safety programs and document corrective measures. Ensure materials, equipment, and inspections to support project schedules. </li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Stakeholder Engagement: </strong>Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clients, and vendors, to ensure alignment and address any concerns. </li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Resource Management: </strong>Monitor and support compliance with safety programs, and the varying groups within the project.  </li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li><strong>Innovation and Improvement: </strong>Continuously seek ways to optimize processes and improve project outcomes through innovative technologies or methodologies. </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>To qualify for the role, you must have</strong> </p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>4-year construction management, engineering degree or equivalent professional training and experience. </li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li>10-years minimum experience of commercial or industrial construction experience including design, finance, and management. </li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Experience reporting directly to Construction executives to make decisions, recommendations that impact project profitability. </li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Experience in two or more of the following: </li>\n  </ul><p>-managing large-scale and complex data center projects with budgets between $50M+. </p><p>-managing projects with $100M+ projects in sectors like general construction, electrical construction, manufacturing construction, technology or infrastructure (transportation, utilities, communication, buildings or energy) industries.    </p><p>-A valid driver’s license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel; travel is estimated at 70+%. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Ideally, you’ll also have</strong> </p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control. </li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Experience supervising, motivating and mentoring cross-functional teams.  </li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Successful background maintaining high safety standards and delivering quality outcomes. </li>\n  </ul><p><strong> </strong> </p><p><strong>Skills and attributes for success </strong>  </p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Strong knowledge of construction processes, laws, standards, and regulations.  </li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Successful background maintaining high safety standards and delivering quality outcomes. </li>\n  </ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Proficiency in developing and implementing project strategies, plans, and budgets. </li>\n  </ul><p> </p><p>Excited to make an impact?
