As a <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Data Architect</span>, you'll be the cornerstone of this mission, ensuring the security of crucial data, optimizing IT infrastructure, and simplifying business processes through cutting-edge software systems. Because at Intellectix, it's not what we do, it's why we do it.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Responsibilities &amp; Duties</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research and properly evaluate sources of information to determine possible limitations in reliability or usability.</li>\n<li>Apply sampling techniques to effectively determine and define ideal categories to be questioned.</li>\n<li>Compare and analyze provided statistical information to identify patterns, relationships, and problems.</li>\n<li>Define and utilize statistical methods to solve industry-specific problems in varying fields, such as economics and engineering.</li>\n<li>Prepare detailed reports for management and other departments by analyzing and interpreting data.</li>\n<li>Train assistants and other team members on how to properly organize findings and read collected data.</li>\n<li>Design computer code using various languages to improve and update software and applications.</li>\n<li>Refer to previous instances and findings to determine the ideal method for gathering data.</li>\n<li>Support the Geospatial Services and Solutions business area to provide high-quality, cost-effective solutions to the customer.</li>\n<li>Design and implement automation solutions to enhance data capture, data refinement, and processes. Coding examples include:\n<ul>\n<li>Interfacing with device APIs to collect operational metrics.</li>\n<li>Providing automated VoIP phone setup.</li>\n<li>Administering and automating data pipelines between different environments.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Utilize best practices for source control, testing, and deployment of software changes.</li>\n<li>Work closely with other automation engineers, infrastructure administrators, and data scientists.</li>\n<li>Diagnose, isolate, and expediently resolve complex problems pertaining to data structures.</li>\n<li>Develop methods to ensure data incompatibilities among systems are systematically eliminated.</li>\n<li>Design, develop, and recommend data management policies, standards, practices, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent data management operations.</li>\n<li>Participate in continuous improvement efforts to increase data availability, data quality, and speed of access.</li>\n<li>Maintain up-to-date documentation of designs/configurations, ensuring team members have continuity of recurring tasks.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Qualifications</span>:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Education/Experience</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field.</li>\n<li>8+ years of related data engineering architecture and design.</li>\n<li>Comfort with Linux/Windows command-line.</li>\n<li>Automation mindset.</li>\n<li>System administration and/or DevOps environment experience.</li>\n<li>Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility to obtain a CI poly.</li>\n<li>Strong math and analytical skills are essential to complete job requirements successfully.</li>\n<li>Experience working with private and sensitive personal information.</li>\n<li>Confident in decision-making and the ability to explain processes or choices as needed.</li>\n<li>Strong computer skills and ability to use necessary databases and software.</li>\n<li>Interpersonal and customer service skills are required when meeting with and interviewing potential clients.</li>\n<li>Excellent multitasking skills and task management strategies.</li>\n<li>Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Desired Skills</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Python experience.</li>\n<li>Shell scripting experience such as Bash or PowerShell.</li>\n<li>Experience with Database technologies such as Postgres, SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.</li>\n<li>Experience writing and working with SQL commands.</li>\n<li>Version control experience with Git.</li>\n<li>Experience with Gitlab and Git workflows.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.</li>\n<li>Time management skills and the drive to work with limited supervision within a small team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Bonus Skills</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Web App development experience such as Flask, Django, React, etc.</li>\n<li>UI/UX experience.</li>\n<li>Experience with Analytics tools such as Tableau.</li>\n<li>Infrastructure as Code experience.</li>\n<li>Experience in technical operations at DoD/IC agencies.</li>\n<li>Cloud experience such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Join Intellectix and be part of a dynamic team that thrives on tempo, teamwork, and technical excellence.
