This is a great opportunity for candidates passionate about building automation frameworks and full-stack internal tooling that empower engineering teams across the organization.</span></p><p><span data-teams=\"true\"><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Develop and maintain internal web-based systems and dashboards with both frontend and backend components</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Build and integrate automation workflows via CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and RESTful APIs</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Design and implement automated testing frameworks and end-to-end test pipelines using tools such as Behave, Selenium, and Pytest</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Write robust Python scripts and services to automate repetitive processes, data collection, and reporting</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify manual workflows and translate them into scalable automated solutions</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Create and maintain documentation for automation frameworks, APIs, and internal systems</span></li></ul><p><span data-teams=\"true\"><strong>Job Experience Required</strong></span></p><ul><li><span data-teams=\"true\">5+ years of practical experience in DevOps or Software Development roles</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Strong proficiency in Python, including automation, scripting, backend service development, and object-oriented design</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Behave (BDD), Selenium, or Pytest</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and web services</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Solid experience with CI/CD platforms, particularly Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Experience with configuration management tools, particularly Ansible</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker)</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, HTTP/S, VLANs, proxies, firewalls)</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills</span></li></ul><p><span data-teams=\"true\"><strong>Bonus Experience</strong></span></p><ul><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Experience designing or building internal developer tooling, or code review workflows</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Experience with Linux VM provisioning, including network configuration and file system management</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Full-stack development experience: backend (Flask or FastAPI preferred) and frontend (HTML/CSS/JavaScript or frameworks such as React/Vue)</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration (Ubuntu preferred)</span></li><li><span data-teams=\"true\">Familiarity with SSL/TLS and certificate management</span></li></ul><p><span data-teams=\"true\"><strong>Educational Requirement</strong></span></p><ul><li><span data-teams=\"true\">A degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or a related field</span></li></ul><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;</p><p><span lang=\"EN-CA\">The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $130,000 - $150,000 annually.&nbsp; </span>Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.<span>&nbsp; </span>Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.<span>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Fortinet strives to provide you and your family with a comprehensive benefits package.
