    "description": "<h2>Subsidiary</h2>OmniSource\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Keep trucks and equipment running efficiently.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspect and repair basic engine components.</li>\n <li>Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair.</li>\n <li>Change tires, make brake adjustments, and fix lights.</li>\n <li>Perform preventative/corrective maintenance on truck & trailers.</li>\n <li>Maintain complete and accurate maintenance documentation.</li>\n <li>Operate forklift, ability to drive Truck and Trailer.</li>\n <li>Follow good housekeeping standards.</li>\n <li>Welding and fabrication as needed.</li>\n <li>Make recommendations for process system improvements.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of industrial safety and OSHA guidelines.</li>\n <li>All other tasks as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of two years experience with general knowledge of DOT truck maintenance requirements.</li>\n <li>A clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more consistently.</li>\n <li>Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Must have strong welding and fabrication skills.</li>\n <li>Must be highly self-motivated.</li>\n <li>Team player dedicated to the organization</li>\n <li>Flexible working hours</li>\n <li>Class A CDL license a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.</strong></em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>#OMNI2026-7214</strong></em></p>",
