You will be part of a business-aligned development squad that specializes in building, enhancing and maintaining custom software and solutions supporting the business. &nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>We are seeking a highly skilled&nbsp;<b>SDET with strong Java programming expertise</b>&nbsp;to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing solutions. This role requires deep knowledge of Java, test automation frameworks, and modern testing practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.</span></p>\n<p><span><b>Your Primary Responsibilities</b>:</span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Prepare, maintain, and implement test cases based on user stories; present results and supervise defects to closure.</span></li>\n <li><span>Develop and maintain&nbsp;<b>Java-based automation scripts</b>&nbsp;for UI, API, and backend testing.</span></li>\n <li><span>Apply&nbsp;<b>Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)</b>&nbsp;principles and best practices in automation code.</span></li>\n <li><span>Perform&nbsp;<b>API testing</b>&nbsp;using&nbsp;<b>Rest Assured</b>&nbsp;and database validation using&nbsp;<b>JDBC/JPA</b>.</span></li>\n <li><span>Track test execution breakthroughs, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines.</span></li>\n <li><span>Construct appropriate end-to-end business scenarios through the application of a broad understanding of business objectives and goals.</span></li>\n <li><span>Write and optimize&nbsp;<b>complex SQL queries</b>&nbsp;for data validation and backend testing.</span></li>\n <li><span>Develop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered.</span></li>\n <li><span>Responsible for process compliance &amp; associated documentation.</span></li>\n <li><span>Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><i>**NOTE:&nbsp; The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **</i></span></p>\n<p><span><b>Qualifications:</b></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Proven min experience of 2-3 years with automated unit and integration testing.</span></li>\n <li><span>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><b>Talents Needed for Success:</b></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span><b>Strong proficiency in Java programming</b>, including:&nbsp;</span>\n  <ul>\n   <li><span>Collections Framework</span></li>\n   <li><span>Exception Handling</span></li>\n   <li><span>Streams and Lambda expressions</span></li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><span>Hands-on experience with&nbsp;<b>Java-based test automation frameworks</b>&nbsp;(Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).</span></li>\n <li><span>Familiarity with&nbsp;<b>build tools</b>&nbsp;(Maven/Gradle) and dependency management.</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience with&nbsp;<b>API testing</b>&nbsp;(Rest Assured) and&nbsp;<b>database testing</b>&nbsp;(JDBC/JPA).</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong knowledge of&nbsp;<b>SQL</b>&nbsp;and relational databases (Oracle, DB2, Snowflake).</span></li>\n <li><span>Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Experience in&nbsp;<b>Agile/DevOps</b>&nbsp;environments.</span></li>\n <li><span>experience in the Capital Market domain</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><i>The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
