One Month vacation Health, life and disability insurance Medical malpractice insurance Physician-led medical group SUMMARY DESCRIPTION :  Psychiatrists who may be considering making a change in their practice now or in the future – and who seek a better professional / personal life balance and the outstanding quality of life. Major Responsibilities: Administers direct patient care which includes but is not limited to: initial psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic evaluations, medication evaluations and treatment at more than one program site. Reviews medical history, orders laboratory tests and reviews results. Provide inpatient hospital and intensive outpatient treatment to adults and adolescents with a comprehensive treatment team. Duties will include admission evaluations; treatment planning and treatment team leadership; daily care of assigned patients; and administrative activities related to patient care. Conducts medical examinations necessary in the course of medication monitoring. Provide physician services, assessment, diagnosis, psychiatric treatment regimen, rehabilitation plans, and support services to persons served by the program’s treatment team. Performs other related duties as required. Demonstrates appropriate medication administration. Prepares documentation regarding medications complies with facility and regulatory standards. Composes timely, accurate, and thorough documentation of patient behavior, medical interventions, treatment planning and intervention. Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.) Board certified or board eligible (become board certified within 3 years of employment) Candidate must have completed a residency in psychiatry and be board eligible.
