    "description": "<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-weight: bold;\">We are looking for a Mechanical Inspector to join our 2nd shift in Tualatin, OR.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline;\">Mechanical Inspector Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprints to understand the required measurements, materials, and tolerances</li>\n<li>Ensure parts are produced according to these blueprints and verify specifications</li>\n<li>Receive and adhere to the Quality Plans provided by the quality engineers and examine material(s) or product(s) for surface defects or any flaws </li>\n<li>Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure that parts meet specifications and tolerances<br></li>\n<li>Check for defects such as cracks, burrs, or improper finishes that could affect the functionality of part or that may affect the customer's perception of the product value</li>\n<li>Approve finished products, conduct visual and measurement tests, return products for re-work, confirm re-work materials for workmanship and, conformance to the quality plan</li>\n<li>Perform corrective actions, internal audits, first article, in-process and final inspection on assemblies<br></li>\n<li>Initiate and complete all quality (Inspection) related records and documents with minimal supervision<br></li>\n<li>Perform precision surface plate and CMM inspection verifications on mechanical parts, components, assemblies, and materials<br></li>\n<li>Construct complex inspection set-up(s) and perform required inspections (using set-up) to determine product acceptance</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline;\">Preferred Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span> High school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience in a precision machine shop environment</span><br></li>\n<li><span> Ability to interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&amp;T)</span></li>\n<li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Preferred Skills:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span> Training in basic shop and measurement math, including linear measurement, metrics, algebra and geometry</span></li>\n<li><span> Familiarity with ISO documentation and processes is a big plus</span><span></span></li>\n<li>Experience CMM Programming with Zeiss and Mitutoyo MCOSMOS is a plus<span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Pay:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span> Competitive pay based on experience</span></li>\n<li><span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Employees on the 2nd shift receive an addition 10% differential towards their pay</span></span></span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> 10% differential = Hourly Pay X .10</span></span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span> Eligible for Overtime </span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Benefits:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span> Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision</span></li>\n<li><span> Life and Disability: Life and Accidental Death &amp; Dismemberment, Long Term Disability</span></li>\n<li><span> 401K Retirement Plan (3% company match)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"color: #0000ff; text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">About us:</span></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"> </span>A Silicon Valley leader in manufacturing and assemblies, Calmax Technology, Inc. manufactures precision machined parts and provides turnkey assembly to Fortune 500 customers across technology, automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, and medical industries.
