May include research, new development, prototyping, modification, reuse, re-engineering, maintenance, or any other activities related to software products used internally or externally on product platforms supported by the firm. The software development process requires in-depth subject matter expertise in existing and emerging development methodologies, tools, and programming languages. Software Developers work closely with business partners and / or external clients in defining requirements and implementing solutions.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>The Software Engineering role specializes in planning, documenting technical requirements, designing, developing, and testing all software systems and applications for the firm. Works closely with architects, product managers, project management, and end-users in the development and enhancement of existing software systems and applications, proposing and recommending solutions that solve complex business problems specifications are met.</span><br><br><span><strong>Your Primary Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Support the coaching, mentoring and development of team members</span></li>\n <li><span>Manage the day-to-day activities of the team and specific business applications (including technical designs) across multiple locations</span></li>\n <li><span>Manage the software development process</span></li>\n <li><span>Estimate total costs for modules/projects covering both hours and expense</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensure success criteria is met from design through deployment via cost-effectiveness, data integrity and reuse</span></li>\n <li><span>Support total delivery and a risk management mindset by anticipating and solving problems</span></li>\n <li><span>Support an environment to ensure employees understand how their efforts contribute to overall business strategy</span></li>\n <li><span>Collaborate with business partners and Business Architecture to drive innovation and re-imagine capabilities</span></li>\n <li><span>Embed a risk management mindset of resiliency, security, and controls into applications</span></li>\n <li><span>Manage technical processes and designs considering non-functional requirements</span></li>\n <li><span>Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Minimum of 8 years of related experience</span></li>\n <li><span>Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience</span></li>\n <li><span>Effective written and verbal communication for issue reporting</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Talents Needed for Success:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Strong technical skills in distributed middleware technologies - Java, Springboot, MQ, Kafka</span></li>\n <li><span>Hands-on experience in multiple platforms - Linux, AWS Cloud, OCP4 Containers</span></li>\n <li><span>Prior experience in modernization projects is a plus</span></li>\n <li><span>Fosters a culture where honesty and transparency are expected.</span></li>\n <li><span>Stays current on changes in his/her own specialist area and seeks out learning opportunities to ensure knowledge is up to date.</span></li>\n <li><span>Invests in effort to individually coach others.</span></li>\n <li><span>Build collaborative teams across the organization.</span></li>\n <li><span>Communicates openly keeping everyone across the organization informed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>&nbsp;<i>Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
