This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and a background in security.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be eligible to work in Canada upto <strong>24 hours per week.</strong></li>\n <li>Must be comfortable standing for the entire shift.</li>\n <li>Must be at least 21years old for insurance purposes.</li>\n <li>Valid ON <strong>Security Guard License.</strong></li>\n <li>Valid First Aid and CPR certificate is a must</li>\n <li>Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.</li>\n <li>Experience with report writing and note-taking.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions</u></strong><strong> :</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property</li>\n <li>Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to any security breaches, disturbances, or suspicious activities</li>\n <li>Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols</li>\n <li>Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies</li>\n <li>Report any security incidents, accidents, or hazards immediately to supervisors or appropriate authorities, documenting observations and actions taken</li>\n <li>Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements</li>\n <li>Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution</li>\n <li>Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks</li>\n <li>Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant regulation</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Benefits</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li>\n <li>Comprehensive health and dental benefits</li>\n <li>Paid training and development programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Disclaimer</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
