Our purpose and passion are to empower patients, their families, and our communities by helping individuals achieve recovery and optimal wellness of the mind, body, and spirit.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Job Summary</u></strong></p>\n<p>As a member of a multidisciplinary medical team, the Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively to deliver high quality, direct clinical care.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities: </u></strong></p>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.</p>\n<p>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs evaluations, H&Ps, detox management, and MAT as per SOP\n  <ul>\n   <li>H&Ps within 24 hours of admission/provider/month (Medical)</li>\n   <li>Psych Evals within 48 hours of admission/provider/month (Psychiatry)</li>\n   <li>Orders labs and other clinically appropriate testing and prescribes medications and treatments</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Participates in the development and implementation of treatment plans</li>\n <li>Consult with other physicians/clinicians about each patient’s specific need and refers to specialists as necessary</li>\n <li>Documents all patient encounters and diagnostic test results accurately and timely in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)</li>\n <li>Participates as an active member of the clinical team</li>\n <li>Attends monthly medical staff meetings with pertinent clinical staff and UR</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned including but not limited to participate on clinical/medical committees, providing education and quality review. </li>\n <li>Establishes positive, professional relationships with local medical community and within the AAC organization</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Education/ Experience</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current, unrestricted license, Nurse Practitioner (FNP OR PMHNP) </li>\n <li>Current, unrestricted DEA Certification</li>\n <li>Current BLS Certification required (ACLS preferred)</li>\n <li>Comply with all applicable laws to physicians including HIPAA and title 42 CFR</li>\n <li>Excellent communication (written and verbal), bedside manner and time management skills </li>\n <li>Demonstrate effective teamwork</li>\n <li>Ability to interact effectively and professionally with persons from diverse socioeconomic, education, racial, ethnic and professional backgrounds</li>\n <li>Computer literate with the ability to appropriately utilize EMR system</li>\n <li>Organize and prioritize workload to provide high quality care and meet deadlines</li>\n <li>Meet and maintain facility credentialing and privileging requirements</li>\n <li>Consistently demonstrate positive customer service attitude</li>\n <li>Maintain the highest ethical and moral standards among all – employees, contractors, patients and members of the general public</li>\n <li>If more than one facility, travel between facilities</li>\n <li>Willing to work evening hours and weekends if necessary</li>\n <li>Upholds the policies and procedures of American Addiction Centers</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<p>AAC is committed to principles of equal opportunities for all employees.
