    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Overview </strong></p>\n<p>The Senior Accountant will support our installation and repair services business withing the Leon’s Furniture Group - LFL - of companies.  The senior accountant will be responsible for accounting, reporting, budgeting and tracking of KPIs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location:</strong> Corporate Office – Toronto, Ontario - Fully Onsite</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Month end close processes (preparation of journal entries, elimination entries, recurring entries and accruals, and account reconciliations) for the installation and repair services business.</li>\n <li>Preparation of the monthly management report deliverables.</li>\n <li>Assist with the interim and year-end audit.</li>\n <li>Participate in special projects as required.</li>\n <li>Liaise with operational and other corporate departments.</li>\n <li>Identify financial process improvement opportunities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3-5 years of accounting experience with focus on financial reporting and analysis.</li>\n <li>Designated accountant (CPA, CA preferred).</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of IFRS including technical accounting and reporting requirements.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management within the organization.</li>\n <li>Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.</li>\n <li>Experience in the skilled trades industry considered asset.</li>\n <li>Oracle (Fusion) experience and/or experience with LimeTac is an asset.        </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> Why join Leon’s?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunity to lead and grow the finance team at one of Canada’s most iconic and trusted brands.</li>\n <li>Ongoing training and professional development.</li>\n <li>Career advancement opportunities within the LFL Group.</li>\n <li>Competitive compensation and benefits package.</li>\n <li>Flexible health and dental coverage for you and your family.</li>\n <li>Generous associate discount program.</li>\n <li>A supportive, collaborative environment where your contributions make a direct impact.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>$80,000 to $85,000 plus (income may vary based on volume and location).</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Additional Information:</strong></p>\n<p>Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use: Leon’s may use AI tools to support the recruitment and selection process (e.g., screening resumes, scheduling interviews).
