    "description": "<h2>Job Summary:</h2>\n<p>The <strong>Scrum Master</strong> will support agile delivery for the ITA AI Center of Excellence by enabling high-performing development teams and ensuring adherence to Scrum and SAFe Agile principles. This role focuses on facilitation, coordination, continuous improvement, and delivery predictability.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>*This position is contingent upon contract award.*</strong></p>\n<h2>Job Duties and Responsibilities: </h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.</li>\n <li>Remove impediments and protect the team from external distractions.</li>\n <li>Coach teams on Agile and Scrum principles and practices.</li>\n <li>Support Product Owners with backlog refinement and prioritization.</li>\n <li>Promote transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with stakeholders and other delivery teams.</li>\n <li>Track and report team performance metrics.</li>\n <li>Support integration of Agile practices across programs.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>U.S. Citizenship (required). Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI or higher background investigation.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.</li>\n <li>Minimum 5 years experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator.</li>\n <li>Strong facilitation and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Desired Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master).</li>\n <li>Experience supporting federal IT programs.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar Agile tools.</li>\n <li>Experience working with AI or software development teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Work Location: Remote preferred with occasional on-site support in Washington, DC, as required.</p>\n<p>This contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
