Description

Overview The Business Systems Manager (ERP) is responsible for end-to-end ownership of ERP business processes and system outcomes, serving as the bridge between business functions and technology delivery. This role ensures that ERP capabilities are aligned to business needs, requirements are clearly defined and prioritized, and delivered solutions are usable, efficient, and adopted across the organization. The BSM plays a critical role in the success of the ERP transformation by driving business process clarity, requirements quality, and user adoption. This position operates within the broader program structure, partnering closely with the Program Manager (execution), Enterprise Systems Manager (architecture/platform), and business stakeholders. Responsibilities Own ERP-related business processes end-to-end, define target-state workflows, and drive standardization, automation, and cross-functional consistency. Gather, refine, and translate business needs into clear requirements, while prioritizing work based on business value, dependencies, and program timelines. Maintain and manage the ERP enhancement and transformation backlog as the business lead for ERP workstreams. Support discovery and solution design through requirements definition, vendor evaluation, and participation in key planning activities. Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT by facilitating workshops, driving alignment, and ensuring accountability for system outcomes. Drive user adoption and operational readiness through training, documentation, change management, and post-implementation feedback. Ensure ERP processes produce accurate, reliable data and partner with data/integration resources to define requirements, support reporting, and advance governance. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience with ERP implementations or major system transformations (required) Strong functional expertise in one or more ERP domains (Finance preferred) Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Operations, etc. Business process design and optimization Requirements gathering and documentation Stakeholder management and facilitation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to translate business needs into system solutions ERP platforms (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) Business process frameworks (R2R, P2P, H2R, etc.) Data, reporting, and integration concepts Familiarity with testing (UAT), release cycles, and system lifecycle Job Condition and Environment Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk. May be required to travel both domestically and internationally for up to two weeks at one time. Expected Hours of Work Normal office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday Due to global nature of the company and scope of the role, duties may require being available periodically outside of normal working hours.
