Are you ready to embrace the future with us?</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the role</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"color: rgb(29, 28, 29); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Job Type: On-site |<span> </span></span><span style=\"color: rgb(72, 65, 63); font-size: 12pt\">Full-time</span></span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span></span></p>\n<p>We are looking for a<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Senior C++ Developer</span> to join our product development department.</p>\n<p>In this role, you will become part of a cross-functional team working on our flagship desktop platform — StarSteer — an advanced CAD-grade system for geonavigation and horizontal well placement.  </p>\n<p>This is a long-term engineering role focused on heavy domain logic, real-time data processing, and complex 2D/3D visualization rather than standard enterprise CRUD development.  We have 5–6 functional teams (Geoscience, Networking, Backend, and Algorithms), and we will align your specific placement with your strongest technical expertise.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p>Design and implement high-performance algorithms and complex business/geoscience features under Windows Desktop.  </p>\n<p>Maintain, optimize, and carefully refactor our established, high-quality monolithic codebase to ensure long-term architecture stability.  </p>\n<p>Conduct code reviews, collaborate on technical designs, and influence engineering best practices across a distributed team.  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Core Requirements:</span></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: rgb(42, 49, 55)\">C++20, Qt 6, STL, Boost, CMake, Git, GitLab CI, Google Test.</span></em></p>\n<p>Commercial software development experience using C++.  </p>\n<p>Strong proficiency in Modern C++ (C++17/20) and standard libraries (STL, Boost).  </p>\n<p>Proven track record of developing complex, data-heavy desktop applications specifically for Windows.  </p>\n<p>Solid experience in CAD/CAE systems, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), industrial, scientific, or simulation software.  </p>\n<p>Clean code mentality, excellent debugging skills, and deep understanding of multithreading and performance optimization.  </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Nice to Have</span></p>\n<p>Experience with Qt5/Qt6 and QML.  </p>\n<p>Background in 2D/3D graphics engines, OpenGL, or real-time visualization tools.  </p>\n<p>Familiarity with network protocols, client-server architectures, and REST APIs.  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>At ROGII, we value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
