Practitioners will be in a clinic setting to provide one-time Physical Health Assessments to active-duty military personnel &amp; Compensation and Pension evaluations to Veterans, which includes reviewing the PHA form, Functional Capacity Certificate, and any medical records the Service Member brings to the event. Practitioners will also interview Service Members to provide additional details as to the status of current and past medical issues, and a very brief focused exam based on the claim may be required. Practitioners provide focused assessments, review diagnostics, and provide documentation on the 2766 in Service Member&rsquo;s medical record.</p>\n\n<p>This is a part-time (<strong>32hr/week</strong>) position.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Job Duties:</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Provides C&amp;P (Compensation &amp; Pension) services to claimants including but not limited to taking health histories, performing assessments, diagnostic testing.</li>\n\t<li>Utilizes application of assessment and evaluation in formulating medical diagnoses and opinions.</li>\n\t<li>Prepares timely, legible, and complete documentation of all claimant care as provided by law, regulation, and established policy.</li>\n\t<li>Demonstrates an awareness of and sensitivity to claimant rights.</li>\n\t<li>Applies safety principles as identified by established policy.</li>\n\t<li>Participates in continuing education to continually improve skills and abilities and stay abreast of current technologies/practices.</li>\n\t<li>Ensures compliance with legal issues including but not limited to claimant confidentiality and risk management; ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.</li>\n\t<li>Participates in quality improvement and utilization review activities.</li>\n\t<li>Exhibits a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with claimants, families, and other healthcare professionals. &middot;</li>\n\t<li>Adjusts to fluctuating peaks in claimant flow, acuity, and other operational demands while maintaining quality, timeliness, and customer service.</li>\n\t<li>&nbsp;Performs other related duties as assigned by management.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.</li>\n\t<li>&nbsp;Current RN and NP license certification.</li>\n\t<li>Two years related experience preferred</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Physician Assistant Qualifications If Applicable:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Completion of a four-year Physician Assistant baccalaureate program and a year of clinical training, or completion of of a two-year accredited Physician Assistant program plus two years of clinical training following completion of PA program.</li>\n\t<li>State accreditation based on certifying exam&nbsp;</li>\n\t<li>NCCPA</li>\n</ul>\n",
