Description

Position Overview: This position is responsible for supporting the Haines’ customer base through verbal and electronic communication concerning our products and services for both internal and external teams. Duties include Answer incoming phone calls Place outgoing phone calls Answer and respond to emails to place or do maintenance on orders Respond to customer requests and concerns Assist customers through troubleshooting and helping to work through issues Stay up to date on product knowledge Fully understand order process knowledge Backorder maintenance & communication to external customer/teams Open order & unprocessed order and mill direct order research & maintenance Process return authorizations Answer customer inquiries about products, orders, and inventory Check manufacturers for stock availability Assist Haines sales team as necessary Participate in promotions and add-on sales Work cross-departmentally for resolutions Adhere to policies made by the company Follow process changes Communicate within the CS team about daily order/customer/process updates Advise management of immediate customer/internal issue or concerns Support the goals established for the Customer Service team, which compliment corporate initiatives. Such goals include timely responses to email and maintaining service levels for phone inquiries including maintaining an average speed of answer of 2 minutes or less Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: High School Diploma required, with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred At least three years of experience in call center or customer service environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent oral and written communication skills. Effective problem solving and motivational skills. Strong analytical, negotiation and people skills. Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to work flexible hours. Ability to receive input and provide feedback to create a cohesive work environment.
