These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Machine Operator Assistant</strong></p>\n<p>Baxter Springs, KS</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation Includes</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Starting Pay Rate of <strong>$17.43 - $19.99/hour</strong> - depending on experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Available Shifts</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>7pm - 7am, Sunday - Tuesday & every other Saturday</li>\n <li>7pm - 7am, Wednesday - Friday & every other Saturday</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Overview</strong></p>\n<p>Produce product using high-speed printing equipment in compliance with Safety Programs and Quality Assurance Systems to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist and function as back-up to Machine Operator to produce quality product at target machine speeds using safe work practices</li>\n <li>Read & understand Production Order Packet (POP); prepare all machine components for production</li>\n <li>Read, understand, and correctly complete daily paperwork</li>\n <li>Follow designated procedures to requisition or return components & materials, inspect components & materials, install components & materials, complete pre & post production activities</li>\n <li>Assist with set-up and/or change over activities with in allotted time</li>\n <li>Participate in Preventative Maintenance Activities as assigned</li>\n <li>Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition</li>\n <li>Complete assigned duties in compliance with company policies & procedures</li>\n <li>Actively engage in safety programs</li>\n <li>Effectively communicate with team members across shifts</li>\n <li>Assist and train other team members as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of six months experience in a manufacturing environment; preferably with a high-speed process</li>\n <li>Commitment to an accident-free and drug-free workplace</li>\n <li>Quality-conscious, oriented to excellence</li>\n <li>Strong work ethic evidenced by enthusiasm, positive attitude, and high energy level</li>\n <li>Well-developed problem-solving skills; creative, out-of-the-box thinker</li>\n <li>Willingness to work overtime as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
