If the answer is yes then please review the details below and apply to this career opportunity here at Humber River Health.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Employment Status: Permanent Part-time </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Reporting Relationship:</strong> Manager, Cardio Diagnostics and Respiratory Therapy</p>\n<p><strong>Hourly Rate:</strong> $36.84 - $51.77</p>\n<p><strong>Union Group: </strong> OPSEU 577</p>\n<p><strong>Hours of work:</strong> Flexible day hours ranging from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm </p>\n<p><strong> Location:</strong> Hennick Humber Hospital, Wilson site </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Providing optimum quality diagnostic images to aid in patient diagnosis and or treatment.</li>\n <li>Manage Inpatient and Outpatient Echocardiograms</li>\n <li>Operating, Troubleshooting and ensuring ultrasound equipment and ancillary equipment are performing in an effective and efficient manner.</li>\n <li>Preparing electronic and written reports required to document all procedures, test results.</li>\n <li>Participating in quality improvement and other related activities.</li>\n <li>Observing and understanding departmental procedures and procedures as well as the hospital mission and value statements</li>\n <li>Other related duties as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completion of a recognized post diploma echocardiography program or recognized equivalent. </li>\n <li>Registered as an Echhocardiographer Technician with CMRTO.</li>\n <li>Registration with the American Registry of Medical Diagnostic Sonographers (ARMDS) or Sonography Canada (CARDUP)</li>\n <li>Minimum of one year recent practical experience in Echocardiography.</li>\n <li>Paediatric ECHO and T.E.E. experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Must have excellent problem solving, problem recognition.</li>\n <li>Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Must have excellent customer service skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently or as a team member. </li>\n <li>Must be able to work effectively with other team members, patients, and family members.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to operate and properly maintain all equipment.</li>\n <li>Meditech and Xcelera experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize a busy workload in a high volume area.</li>\n <li>Reliable, consistent attendance is a requirement.</li>\n <li>An understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles as they relate to health practices is an asset.
