Overview Enjoy being a chef, but tired of the late hours? We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate sous chef to join our culinary team! Spring House Estates is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Sous Chef position. Our beautiful, gated community is located in Lower Gwynedd, PA (just off the Route 309 Spring House exit). In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation and cooking in all production environments. Directs and supports the day-to-day operations and supervises the food production and sanitation staff. Assists with the hiring and training of new kitchen staff. Responsible for the daily duties in the absence of the Executive Chef. Takes charge of kitchen opening, closing, and other side duties as directed by the Executive Chef. Participates in inventory, development of par sheets, and places food and supply orders. Requirements The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of four years’ progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment ServeSafe Certification (preferred) Experienced in all cooking stations and methods Team members are eligible for a generous benefit package including health benefits (medical, prescription, dental and vision), flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability programs, 401(k) plan (with 4% company match after one year of employment), paid time off and holidays, and much more!
