Other benefits include employer pension matching, shift differential, incentive/premium pay, free annual biometric screening and paid volunteer time off.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>RiverView is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2> \n<strong>Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department </strong> \n<strong>Position Status: </strong>.9 fte (72 hours per pay period) - rotational days and nights (12-hour shifts);  Two (2) weekends out of every six (6) weeks.\n<strong>Department: </strong>Emergency Department\n<strong>Salary Range:</strong> $36.73 - $51.43 / per hour (based on experience) - benefitted (\n<em><strong>Sign-On Bonus eligible!</strong></em>)  \n<strong>Join our Team!</strong>Riverview Health's Emergency Department is currently looking for an exceptional RN to join our team.  \n<p><strong>Summary:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Emergency Department (ED) RN is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. The RN assesses, triages, and treats patients with a wide range of medical conditions, ensuring timely and effective care in collaboration with the healthcare team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Patient Assessment and Triage - Perform rapid assessment and triage based on patient acuity.</li>\n <li>Provide direct patient care in the ER, including triage, stabilization, treatment, and discharge planning.</li>\n <li>Emergency Intervention - Respond to life-threatening emergencies such as cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, and trauma.</li>\n <li>Documentation and Reporting - Accurately document patient care and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR).</li>\n <li>Demonstrate compliance with all regulatory standards, infection prevention, and patient safety protocols.</li>\n <li>Communication and Collaboration - Communicate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members. Provide patient education on plan of care, discharge instructions, and medications.</li>\n <li>Patient Advocacy and Safety - Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately.</li>\n <li>Emotional and Crisis Support - Provide emotional support to patients and families during traumatic events. Maintain professionalism and composure in high-stress situations.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Minimum(s):</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current State of Minnesota RN license is required.</li>\n <li>Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC Certifications (if not current, RiverView will discuss assistance in obtaining on hire).</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Preferred(s):</p>\n<ul>\n <li>2+ years of experience in emergency nursing, ICU, or trauma</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Competencies:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must work well under pressure and be sensitive to concerns and confidentiality of the patient</li>\n <li>Ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds with professionalism and care</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills</li>\n</ul>",
