This role is important in achieving excellent patient satisfaction results. The Patient Access Representative role is critical in optimizing patient collections, maintaining accurate balances of patient accounts, and reducing outstanding receivables.</p><p><u><strong>Responsibilities</strong></u></p><ul><li>Answer all incoming patient calls to the Revenue Cycle central business office&nbsp;</li><li>Explain all financial balances to patients as required</li><li>Answer all billing inquiries from patients to ensure their full understanding of financial obligations</li><li>Collect patient balances</li><li>Run credit card payments received in the central business office</li><li>Provide payment options to patients which includes budget plans and/or the financial hardship process</li><li>Identify, correct and/or communicate errors on claims to applicable Revenue Cycle teams and/or Clinic offices</li><li>Ensure timely resolution and follow up communication to patients</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment</li><li>This is a hybrid position</li></ul><p><br></p>",
