    "description": "<h2>Opportunity</h2>\n<p>PeopleTec is currently seeking a <strong>Software Test Engineer</strong> to support our <strong>Huntsville, AL</strong> location.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking a full-time on-site software test engineer interested in joining an award-winning company and working with cutting-edge missile defense modeling and simulation technologies. The selected candidate will be a member of a dynamic Huntsville-based team working on state-of-the-art system-of-systems frameworks and blending engineering and software skills. This is a full-time, on-site position.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Duties Include</u>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Developing and executing software test procedures to verify requirements and features</li>\n <li>Creating and configuring complex test scenarios</li>\n <li>Developing software test documentation</li>\n <li>Collaborating with stakeholders and Government customers on requirements verification</li>\n <li>Working within an agile team environment including program increment planning, iteration planning, feature and story development, sprint planning, and iteration retrospectives</li>\n <li>Participating in demos for program sprint reviews</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><u></u><strong><u>Required Skills/Experience</u>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages</li>\n <li>Experience with GitLab/Git for software configuration management</li>\n <li>Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system</li>\n <li>Experience programming network connections (e.g., message generation, formatting, UDP and TCP/IP interfaces)</li>\n <li>Must be a U.S. Citizen</li>\n <li>An active DoD <strong>Secret</strong> clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active <strong>Secret</strong> clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Education Requirements</u>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Bachelor’s degree from accredited college in related discipline with 1+ years professional experience; OR Master’s degree with 1 year professional experience; or PhD with no experience</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Skills</strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Test automation or analysis automation</li>\n <li>Agile scrum</li>\n <li>Java and user interfaces</li>\n <li>Jira, or similar tool, for issue tracking and agile project management</li>\n <li>Multi-core and multi-threaded programming</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) missile defense system, sensors, and M&S</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong><em>People First.
