In this position, you will perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment, including plumbing and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes. Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environments.</p><p>Think you’ve got what it takes?</p><p><strong>Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for plumbing and associated systems and equipment to ensure a safe environment and operational reliability according to standards established by the management team.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs to facilities to provide a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Performs repairs to failed equipment according to established standards and within acceptable timeframes.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provides notification of equipment shutdowns to appropriate leadership, departmental personnel, and Service Response Center Operators.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintains documentation to accurately record equipment problems and failures, including work order completeness.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Reports major failures and equipment malfunctions to Manager.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Assists with, oversees and/or inspects repairs or modifications performed by contractors.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrates ability to perform plumbing skill sets.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving maintenance duties for plumbing and associated systems and equipment according to standards established by management team.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrate technical knowledge depth for plumbing and associated systems according to standards established by the management team.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrates work product meets the expected criteria.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrate accountability for customer service and professional behavior through personal work ethic and teamwork.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrate accountability for effective communication skills.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrate accountability for management skill sets.<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Consistently demonstrates positive, responsible leadership and guidance.</p><p><i>As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.</i></p><p><strong>Skills &amp; Requirements</strong><br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Required High School Diploma or GED<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Required JRNYPLUM - Journeyman's License Plumbing State of Texas or MASTPLUM - Master Plumber State of Texas<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Preferred medical gas certification<br>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Required 5 years' experience as a plumbing service-related technician with preferred hospital experience and High-rise plumbing systems experience<br>&nbsp;</p>",
