    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Element has an opportunity for an<strong> Environmental Technician</strong> whose prime responsibility is to assist the regional environmental field services department in environmental testing and reporting at project sites.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary: $20- $25/hr DOE </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist and learn all aspects of work the environmental department carry out including stack emissions monitoring, ambient air quality monitoring, soil and groundwater monitoring and noise monitoring</li>\n <li>A willingness to embrace new skills in the above mentioned areas and apply them in a practical context is considered prerequisite</li>\n <li>Assist with planning and execution of projects </li>\n <li>Assist with report preparation</li>\n <li>Assistance with maintenance and calibration of environmental department equipment</li>\n <li>Assistance with maintenance of Health and Safety and Quality standards within a UKAS accredited 17025 quality management systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills / Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Science Graduate or higher qualification</li>\n <li>2 years relevant experience</li>\n <li><strong>Physical fitness and ability to withstand the challenging working conditions presented by the climbing of stacks and handling heavy industrial</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Strong and determined quality focus with indefatigable determination to get the job done under the most challenging conditions</strong></li>\n <li>Self-motivated team playing with excellent organizational and communication skills</li>\n <li>Willingness to embrace new skills and apply them in a practical context is considered prerequisite</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Diversity Statement</h2>\n<p>At Element, we always take pride in putting our people first.
