Our Social Workers provide emotional support, counseling, and resource coordination to patients facing terminal illness. This role plays a key part in the delivery of holistic care and ensures that patients' psychosocial needs are met with dignity and respect. Meets personnel qualifications stated in §418.114(b)(3). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in health care, hospice experience preferred. Understands hospice philosophy, and issues of death/dying. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in a hospice care preferred. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Current licensure according to Medicare guidelines to practice in state of operation. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state or organization requirements and is in good working order. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About our Line of Business</h2>At Haven Hospice, our primary ambition is to bring high-quality care to the warmest and most serene environment possible: home.
