As project delivery models, regulatory frameworks, supply chains, and technology continue to evolve, our ability to stay flexible and agile in our safety approach is essential to our success.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Works with the Company estimating systems and processes. </li>\n <li>Acquire basic level of understanding of estimating terminology, measures, concepts and principles for preparing estimates.</li>\n <li>Recognizes how various processes/project actions and assumptions may impact estimates. </li>\n <li>Under supervision prepares bid packages, conceptual estimates and analysis of subcontractor bids, etc. for projects.</li>\n <li>Performs duties with limited complexity under direct supervision, such as material take offs, compilation of historical data, etc. </li>\n <li>Expected to assist in the preparation of larger and more complex estimating assignments including the Estimate Plan.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Minimum Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in Rail, Transit, or Water/Wastewater construction projects.</li>\n <li>Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite.</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving skills and consistent attention to detail.</li>\n <li>Ability to manage changing deadlines and work well under pressure for multiple team leaders.</li>\n <li>Work independently and effectively to prioritize multiple tasks.</li>\n <li>Highly organized with excellent time management skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Additional Information:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.</li>\n <li>This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The salary range for this position is between<strong> $90,000 - $125,000</strong> per year depending on experience and/or education.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Shimmick offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and financial future.
