Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community.</em></p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong> We are seeking a <strong>Physician Assistant (PA)</strong> with experience or strong interest in <strong>outpatient cardiology</strong> to join a growing ambulatory cardiology practice. This role works closely with cardiologists to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, including patient histories and physical exams</p></li>\n <li><p>Evaluate and manage patients with cardiac conditions such as hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and hyperlipidemia</p></li>\n <li><p>Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests (EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter/event monitors, labs)</p></li>\n <li><p>Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with cardiology physicians</p></li>\n <li><p>Prescribe medications and manage ongoing therapy per clinical guidelines</p></li>\n <li><p>Provide patient education regarding disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications</p></li>\n <li><p>Document all clinical encounters accurately in the EMR</p></li>\n <li><p>Coordinate care with referring providers, imaging, and ancillary services</p></li>\n <li><p>Support quality initiatives and clinical protocols within the cardiology service line</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p>#INDHP</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program</p></li>\n <li><p>Active PA license in [State]</p></li>\n <li><p>NCCPA certification</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Outpatient cardiology experience</strong> (1+ year preferred, but strong new grads considered depending on training)</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience with EPIC or similar EMR</p></li>\n <li><p>BLS/ACLS certification</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p><strong><em>Essen Health care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.</em></strong></p>",
