    "description_html": "<p>Laborer w/CDL</p><p>Description</p><p>Requirements for an Underground CDL Laborer:</p><p>Pass a background check and drug test</p><p>Class \"A\" CDL</p><p>Tasks Required for an Underground CDL Laborer:</p><p>Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones.</p><p>Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.</p><p>Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.</p><p>Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities.</p><p>Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.</p><p>Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed.</p><p>Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications.</p><p>Tend to pumps, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery, or equipment</p><p>Erect or dismantle traffic barricades or other temporary structures for safety.</p><p>Lubricate and clean machinery, equipment, or tools.</p><p>Utilize machinery, such as a directional drill, to drill holes in a multitude of different types of dirt and clay.</p><p>Knowledge Required of an Underground CDL Laborer:</p><p>Building and Construction— Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in underground construction for CATV telecommunications systems.</p><p>Mechanical— Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.</p><p>Safety— Knowledge of relevant safety procedures in a construction setting.</p><p>Disclaimer Statement This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions associated with this position.
