The Medical Assistant also works to fulfill a variety of patient needs and ensures smooth patient flow within the department.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Greets patients on the phone and in person</li><li>Willing to drive between Bountiful, Park City, Salt Lake City, Heber, Sandy, Eagle Mountain, West Jordan</li><li>Places patients in the exam rooms</li><li>Takes vital signs and perform ancillary tests appropriate to skill level</li><li>Assists and sets up for providers during examination, treatment, and procedures</li><li>Keeps accurate patient files</li><li>Applies dressing, bandages, and splints as ordered by provider</li><li>Ensures rooms are stocked with necessary supplies</li><li>Maintains a sanitized and safe working environment</li><li>Maintains HIPAA</li><li>Coordination of services between multiple practices demonstrable by excellent communication skills</li><li>Performs administrative tasks and must be cross trained on front desk responsibilities to provide support as needed</li></ul>",
