The incumbent exercises independent decision making in accomplishing specific assignments and works under the general supervision of the Crew Chief.  This position works on all aspects of the Claremore electric distribution system and spends much of the time training or instructing apprentice linemen to learn skills, principles and procedures required of apprenticeship training. The foreman is responsible for the safety of everyone on his crew and is responsible for the conduct of everyone on his crew. The incumbent is responsible for the equipment that is provided as well as making sure the jobs are completed in a timely, safe, effective manner. Safety sensitive positions must comply to federal regulations where marijuana still remains illegal.
