    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><u><strong>Job Summary:</strong></u></p>\n\n<p>Are you customer focused, have a passion for people and like to have fun? Our Leasing Consultants are Camden&rsquo;s first impression to potential and current residents. Their primary responsibilities are to ensure the satisfaction of our residents while also meeting leasing, retention and occupancy goals for the community. Camden Leasing Consultants have excellent communication skills, think outside the box and have the ability to build lasting relationships. They are experts in customer service who are able to understand and anticipate our customers&rsquo; needs to create exceptional experiences.</p>\n\n<p><u><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></u></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Manage the leasing process from tour to move-in including closing the sale, completing lease documents and inspecting units to ensure a great &ldquo;move-in experience&rdquo;</li>\n\t<li>Showcase the value of the community features as they relate to the customer needs</li>\n\t<li>Use a customer focused attitude year round to ensure a smooth renewal process for existing residents</li>\n\t<li>Utilize and establish creative marketing and social media strategies to increase property traffic</li>\n\t<li>Support occupancy and retention goals by following up with potential and current residents</li>\n\t<li>Use problem solving skills and best judgment to handle unpredictable situations as they arise</li>\n\t<li>Maintain accurate and in-depth knowledge of the community and competitors in the industry to give potential residents all the information they need to make their decision</li>\n\t<li>Promote positive resident relations through courteous and timely response to resident needs and concerns</li>\n\t<li>Demonstrate strong attention to detail while preparing lease documents, resident files, applications for approval and related bookkeeping tasks</li>\n\t<li>Collaborate with team members to plan and organize resident events</li>\n\t<li>Will assist in other projects and activities as needed</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><u><strong>Qualifications:</strong></u></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>One year of experience in sales, hospitality and/or customer service</li>\n\t<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred</li>\n\t<li>Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals</li>\n\t<li>Work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required</li>\n\t<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel &amp; Outlook</li>\n\t<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n\t<li>Leasing and/or property management experience preferred</li>\n\t<li>Knowledge of OneSite and Yield Star preferred</li>\n\t<li>Bilingual in Spanish is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><u><strong>And here&rsquo;s the fine print HR wants you to know:</strong></u></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Job is intermittently sedentary but requires mobility (i.e., climb stairs) to tour, show, and inspect apartments on a daily basis</li>\n\t<li>Will use some repetitive motion of hand-wrist in using computer and writing</li>\n\t<li>Works in a typical office setting with daily exposure to outdoor environment (i.e., heat, cold, damp, rain, etc.) when touring community</li>\n\t<li>Hazards can be minimized with proper lifting techniques, SDS, general safety training, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)</li>\n\t<li>Must handle stressful, urgent, novel and diverse work situations on a daily basis</li>\n\t<li>Emotional stability and personal maturity are important attributes in this position</li>\n\t<li>Will be regularly called upon to work long hours and odd schedules (including weekends)</li>\n\t<li>Position requires periodic travel by automobile to handle work-related activities</li>\n\t<li>May require airline travel, out-of-town and /or overnight trips&nbsp;</li>\n\t<li>Attendance and punctuality is essential for success in this position</li>\n\t<li>Contact your HR team for the position&rsquo;s Physical Demands Analysis</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>This job description is not an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities.
