    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>This role is responsible for ensuring Treasury (including cash and investments) Transactions within the India Finance</p>\n<p>Shared Services Center (FSSC) are captured and reported accurately and timely in the company’s financial statements in</p>\n<p>accordance to US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles – as well as, helping to drive standardization and</p>\n<p>harmonization of all Treasury accounting processes for EMEA.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>How You’ll Make an Impact:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Maintains Treasury related accounts for entities that are covered by the India Finance Shared Services Center (FSSC) – including: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Updating and maintaining Treasury related accounts for US GAAP & Statutory reporting T</li>\n <li>Timely and accurate monthly investment and other treasury accounts balance sheet account reconciliations as per template used by the EMEA FSSC </li>\n <li>Processing of Bank Transactions and Treasury related investment monthly via the EBS functionality </li>\n <li>Timely analysis, identification, communication and resolution of balance sheet account reconciliation issues </li>\n <li>Prepares journal entries to general ledger </li>\n <li>Assures documents being processed are included in the appropriate accounting period </li>\n <li>Analyzes and verifies internal consistency, completeness, and arithmetic accuracy of accounting documents </li>\n <li>Analyzes and researches and corrects issues related to accounting </li>\n <li>Communicates issues with errors, procedure violations and discrepancies with all levels of management </li>\n <li>Month-end closing activities including</li>\n <li>Responsible for submitting monthly reporting to Corporate (M’s and Q’s) as per Bio-Rad policies and procedures </li>\n <li>Updates and maintains month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing schedules </li>\n <li>Performs balance sheet and income statement account analyses and actual versus budget comparisons to determine if there are missing entries or significant variances that require further investigation </li>\n <li>Processes accruals during month-end close </li>\n <li>Assists in preparation of QVRs </li>\n <li>Responsible for responding to any questionnaires from corporate</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Internal controls including</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists in internal control reviews for assigned control objectives required by section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley </li>\n <li>Assists in internal and external audit requests – before, during and after – as well as the completion of audit-required analyses. </li>\n <li> Assists in answering auditing questions and resolves auditing issues.</li>\n <li>-Ensures compliance with applicable Corporate Policies and Procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Works on unique and critical projects and problems including</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>coordinates special projects and requests involving general accounting systems </li>\n <li>Assists in special projects and requests involving general accounting systems</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Chartered Accountant, CPA, ACCA, Cost Accountant or equivalent degree in accounting and Finance</li>\n <li>A relevant qualification or accreditation with a professional body or proven sustained progress to obtain one</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills for interacting with individual team contributors, businesspartners, and senior management.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of internal controls and US GAAP accounting required.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem solving background.</li>\n <li>Innovative and able to think both analytically and conceptually.</li>\n <li>Fluent (both orally and in writing) in English</li>\n <li><p>3-5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p></li>\n <li><p>Large ERP System Experience – SAP & Hyperion preferred</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience in Treasury accounting or General Ledger for a large Multinational company with a high volume, performance driven environment</p></li>\n <li><p>Experience identifying and investigating discrepancies in accounting records</p></li>\n <li><p>General ledger accounting experience including accountant analyses and expense analysis</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Who We Are:</strong> For 70 years, Bio-Rad has focused on advancing the discovery process and transforming the fields of science and healthcare.
