    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p>The Warehouse Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the warehouses and surrounding properties. This includes cleaning floors and racks, organizing recycling and trash, breaking down crates and boxes, and supporting minor maintenance activities. The role may also involve additional debris removal from external areas and general support to the warehouse team.</p><p><br></p><p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Clean and maintain warehouse floors, racking, and general areas.</li><li>Break down crates and compact cardboard using trash compactors or designated tools.</li><li>Organize and remove trash, recycling, and surplus materials from the facility.</li><li>Notify management of maintenance issues and request supplies as needed.</li><li>Sweep and clear debris from parking lots and walkways.</li><li>Remove any hazardous obstacles as needed to maintain safe exterior areas.</li><li>Assist with organizing materials within the warehouse.</li><li>Safely handle the use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions, flammable materials (Paint, Acetone, Fuel)</li><li>Support the Warehouse Team with tasks as directed by the Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager and General Manager.</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and OSHA-compliant work environment.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Work Environment and Physical Demands</p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>This position requires work 50% indoors in an enclosed environment and 50% outdoors in open weather conditions&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation and push/pull up to 150 lbs. on carts or dollies</li><li id=\"isPasted\">Frequent standing, walking, bending, and use of hands for handling, cleaning and overall maintenance</li><li>Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required for specific tasks</li><li>Use of cleaning equipment, compactors and manual tools required.</li></ul><p><br>Qualifications Desired</p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>High school diploma or GED required.</li><li>Minimum 2 years of custodian or porter experience.</li><li>Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.</li><li>Knowledge of cleaning practices, materials, and equipment.</li><li>Understanding of OSHA regulations and safe work practices.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.</li><li>Demonstrates discretion and professionalism in all duties.</li><li>Team player able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul></div></div></div></div>\n",
