Description
Overview
The Engineer III (IA IT) provides computer security support for the task order for US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM); Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center; Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate.
Responsibilities
Sustain and upgrade Information Systems within the supporting labs and projects.
Provide expertise in the IT and IA/Cyber fields to support the Government in the day-to-day operations, maintenance, administration, and sustainment of all networks and standalone computer systems.
Document modification or alteration of the certification and accreditation of the lab space.
Make recommendations for future upgrades to computer systems with the goal of maintaining adequate lab facilities required to execute the mission at hand.
Assist in the detailed selection and purchase of software, tools, laboratory and computer equipment.
Plan and implement lifecycle upgrades as approved by the Government.
Coordinate and support equipment installation, commissioning, training, and supporting operation.
Perform hardware installation of end-user devices to include computers, printers, laptops, scanners, and other hardware.
Implement and validate appropriate patches are implemented on servers for operating system and database software.
Create and maintain a comprehensive list of software including software name, number of licenses, license information, end user license agreements (EULAs), cost, and renewal dates.
Create and maintain a comprehensive list of IT hardware including servers, computers, testing/lab equipment, monitors, KVM switches, TVs, projectors, tablets, etc. The list should include operating system, barcode, location, network/classification, accreditation information, purchase date, end of life date.
Maintain lab network hardware and software to high availability and maintain knowledge to coordinate availability and completion of business/enterprise network licenses, tickets, outages, statuses, etc.
Support maintenance of network accreditations including network diagrams, hardware/software, and POAMs as necessary.
Provide technology support as required, including advising and implementation of technology to facilitate the secure storage and sharing of information.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of experience or AA/AS with seven years of relevant experience
Registered IAT Level II baseline certification: either CCNA Security, CySA+**, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, CND, and SSCP (preferred Security+ CE certificate)
TS/SCI Clearance
Salary Range: $134, 217 - $160, 079
The above salary range represents a general guideline. Integral Federal considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
