Description
Location: Oklahoma City VA Health Care System
921 NE 13th Street, Oklahoma City, OK
Position Overview: The Interventional Radiology Physician will provide onsite clinical services to eligible veterans at the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System. The physician will perform a full range of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures and support the VA’s mission of delivering high-quality healthcare to veterans.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a full scope of Interventional Radiology procedures , including arterial, venous, and vascular access interventions.
Provide diagnostic interpretation and treatment planning for radiologic procedures.
Deliver direct patient care and clinical consultation to VA physicians and clinical teams.
Maintain accurate documentation within the VA electronic health record system .
Participate in clinical discussions, case reviews, and multidisciplinary coordination when required.
Adhere to all VA policies regarding patient safety, privacy, and infection control.
Required Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Board Certified in Radiology (American Board of Radiology)
Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
Current DEA registration
National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Current BLS and ACLS certification
