Candidates should have strong accounting experience, preferably in multi-location retail, hospitality, or restaurant industries.</p><hr><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ol><li><p><strong>Financial Reporting &amp; Compliance:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.</li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions.</li><li>Assist in audits and maintain accurate financial records for internal and external stakeholders.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>General Accounting Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee and manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.</li><li>Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.</li><li>Conduct variance analysis to identify and address discrepancies in financial performance.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Operational Support:</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with location managers and operational teams to streamline financial processes and maintain consistency across all restaurant locations.</li><li>Partner with the Controller and CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.</li><li>Support mergers and acquisitions (M&amp;A) activity, including due diligence and integration efforts.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Process Improvement:</strong></p><ul><li>Identify opportunities to enhance accounting systems, processes, and controls to support the company's rapid growth.</li><li>Work with external auditors, tax professionals, and consultants to ensure best practices are followed.</li></ul></li><li><p><strong>Private Equity Support:</strong></p><ul><li>Prepare financial reports and analyses for private equity partners and board meetings.</li><li>Assist in tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business success.</li></ul></li></ol><hr><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li><li>CPA certification preferred but not required.</li><li>4&#8211;7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a multi-location or hospitality/restaurant industry environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of GAAP and multi-entity consolidations.</li><li>Experience with accounting software, preferably systems like NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or QuickBooks.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling is a plus.</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.</li></ul><p></p>",
