This position supports the Superintendent in constructing high-quality pavements that meet stringent state DOT specifications. The Foreman is responsible for overseeing grade preparation, form and steel placement, equipment setup, and concrete finishing while maintaining efficient production rates. </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Key Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Responsible for assisting Superintendent for slip form and fixed form paving operations and constructing finished pavements meeting stringent state DOT specifications</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Inspect condition of grade, forms, and steel placement for compliance with specifications prior to concrete placements</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Perform or assist with set up of slip form paving equipment and steel forms</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Must be able to read drawings and implement them in the field</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ensure that production rates are achieved daily</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Coordinate slip form paving operations using paving equipment with stringless technology with Paving Superintendent</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Coordinate and implement fixed form paving operations with Superintendent</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Responsible for all placement, finishing, and curing operations for specification compliance</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Direct and communicate with crew members to ensure high quality pavements</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Perform and report time to Superintendent</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Requirements:</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">H.S. Diploma or equivalent is required.
