Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining customer relationships within an assigned territory supporting one branch location. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities, growing existing accounts, promoting company products and services, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Sales Manager serves as the primary company representative in the field, working closely with customers, contractors, builders, distributors, and other industry partners to expand market presence and achieve sales and profitability goals. Responsibilities Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and margin goals. Manage an assigned sales territory and maximize market penetration. Utilize CRM tools and sales reports to drive activity, customer retention, and growth. Promote company products, services, pricing strategies, and sales initiatives. Conduct customer visits, presentations, product demonstrations, and business development meetings. Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns. Support customer retention through proactive relationship management and exceptional service. Collaborate with Quality Control, Operations, Customer Service, and Warehouse teams to resolve customer issues and ensure order fulfillment. Coordinate with branch leadership regarding large projects, forecasting, inventory needs, and special orders. Monitor market trends, customer demand, and competitive activity. Develop strategies to achieve and exceed sales, revenue, and margin targets. Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline management through CRM reporting. Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory to support business growth and customer relationships.
