The Nuclear Corporate Oversight Consultant provides program oversight and challenges the Callaway Leadership Team to consistently perform to high industry standards defined by the NRC, INPO/WANO, industry peers and to continuously pursue and sustain exemplary performance.</p><p></p><p><b><i>Key responsibilities include:</i></b></p><ul><li>Provide critical assessment and oversight of the Callaway Energy Center&#39;s Nuclear Performance, Programs, Processes, and Procedures.</li><li>Monitor, provide oversight, and support CEC preparations for INPO or NRC evaluations in assigned Functional Areas and communicate recommendations to CEC Leadership to enable continued CEC improvement through Ameren Values and Staying on Top Values.</li><li>Challenge Site Leadership to ensure issues/concerns that jeopardize excellence at CEC are resolved timely, considered, and implemented, site and industry best practices are internalized, and Callaway avoids complacency.</li><li>Prepare and lead discussion of Functional Area performance to Site Leadership, Ameren Executive Leadership, and the Board of Directors if required.</li><li>Responsible for internalizing the requirements for NCO as defined in Policy 52, Callaway Plant Governance, Oversight, Support, and Performance (GOSP) Model.</li><li>Benchmark top nuclear industry performers to identify further opportunities for Callaway to embrace in the pursuit of excellence supported by routine, onsite observations at the Callaway Energy Center.</li></ul><h2></h2><h2><i>Qualifications</i></h2><p>Bachelor&#39;s degree required, preferably in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering Management, Nuclear Technology, or other science related degree.  P.E. License and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.  Ten or more years of nuclear power plant experience in Engineering, Training, Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement, Maintenance, Operations, Work Management or Project Management required.  Five or more years of supervisory or high-level team/project leadership preferred.  Understanding of Nuclear Industry Standards and the Code of Federal Regulations (10CFR50) for nuclear required.  SRO or RO License is preferred. AI competency preferred.</p><p></p><p><b>In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:</b></p><h2></h2><h2>Knowledge in the areas of design control/basis, technical specifications, process management, quality management, plant/equipment operations, root cause analysis, CAP, and radiological response required. This position requires day travel of approximately 10% depending on business need.  Security screening for Callaway Energy Center access required.  Employees must obtain and maintain unescorted access to Callaway Energy Center including radiological controlled areas as a condition of employment. Employee must participate in the Nuclear Fitness for Duty Program.  Excellent written and verbal communications.</h2><h2></h2><h2><i>Additional Information</i></h2><p>Ameren’s selection process includes a series of interviews and may include candidate testing and/or an individual aptitude or skill-based assessment.  Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.</p><p></p><p></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\"><u><b>Compensation Range:</b></u></p>$138,900.00 - $215,300.00<p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\">At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered.
